A piece of our history...
Tout a commencé sur des terres agricoles ancestrales dans un petit village niché à 1000 mètres d'altitude et l'idée d'un camping à la ferme à la fin des années 1960.
At the end of the buzzing and wild 1960s, in a tiny village nestled at an altitude of 1000 meters, a woman dreamt of building a camping on her farm.
Soon, her son Georges, a dairy farmer at the time, would meet Michelle who worked as a waitress; and, together, they would open "Le Restaurant à la ferme" where they cooked and served fresh produce from the farm.
Almost ten years later, in 1980, the hotel welcomed its very first guests and bore the name of a mountain well-known by locals: Mount Catinat.
The domain grew as the years went by: our chalets were built in 1989.
Our establishment has remained a family tradition for 4 generations and today it is us Patricia, Georges and Michelle's daughter, and Juliette, Patricia's daughter, who are happy to welcome you in this lovely place we call home alongside our loyal team.
We are very proud to host our guests in our own little dreamland, at a crossroads between magical valleys, a strategic location to discover the very best Hautes-Alpes have to offer all year long !
